Description of Ti-6Al-4V Titanium

Ti-6Al-4V (GR 5) is an alloy consisting of 6% aluminum, 4% vanadium, and 90% pure titanium. This grade has excellent corrosion resistance and higher mechanical properties than stainless steels and 3Al2.5V Titanium, 6Al4V Titanium is one of the most widely used titanium alloys, easy to find it as bars, sheets, forgings and discs etc. But almost can’t find it as tube and pipes.

Ti-6Al-4V (GR 5) has very strength and hardness, really hard or can’t make the pipes by cold worked. FD Titanium can supply some Ti-6Al-4V pipes by hot worked and machining or some tubes by cold worked.
